Playoff run leads to 8 Arlington Lamar signings

ARLINGTON — A Region I semifinal run in the fall led to eight football signings for Arlington Lamar. Wide receiver Kofi Boateng, an Arkansas signee, said he hopes his senior class created a path for younger players to follow. Shane Buechele named the Most Valuable Player of District 4-6A

Keven Costlow Lamar quarterback Shane Buechele, who finished his career as the third-leading passer in Arlington ISD history, was named the Most Valuable Player of District 4-6A, as selected by the eight football coaches in the district. Buechele, who guided his Vikings to the regional semifinals this season, finished his career with more than 6,300
